Infertility

For some couples, getting pregnant can be difficult. If you have not been able to get pregnant after 1 year of trying to conceive, you may have infertility. Infertility may be a result of female or male factors. Female factors include problems with the fallopian tubes, uterus and ovaries. Some of the problems may be anatomical (problems with the uterus or tubes) or functional, such as ovulation. Male factor refers to problems with sperm count, sperm quality and motility.

At Elite Women’s Health, we offer comprehensive testing for both female and male factor infertility.

If you are found to have infertility because you are not ovulating, Dr. Lee may prescribe a medication to help you ovulate. Many couples are able to conceive with this simple intervention.

For couples requiring advanced reproductive technologies, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), Dr. Lee will refer you to a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist.
